Events are not listed in date order, so be sure to scroll through to catch everything. 

Remember: Girls aren’t required to attend our events with their troop. Any Girl Scout member, including Indie Girl Scouts, can register with her caregiver!

Financial assistance is available to girl members for one council-sponsored event per membership year. Apply today.

Safe Sitter Babysitting with Pediatric CPR 05-04-24
Learn the ABCs of becoming a safe and responsible babysitter in this full-day training offered by certified instructors with Safe Sitter. You will learn about accident prevention, emergency response, and general child and infant care. This option will include Pediatric CPR.

Girl Scout Flick-N-Float Fun Pool Party 04-05-24
Calling all Girl Scouts! Join us for a special Girl Scouts Flick-N-Float pool party in Mercer County. Just in time for early bird registration! This event will feature two hours of swimming fun in the pool while a movie plays on the big screen. Keep the Girl Scout fun floating with a BONUS GIFT! The first 50 girls to register for this event AND purchase their early bird membership by April 3 will receive a pink flamingo drink floaty!

Geocaching Adventure with L.L.Bean 06-01-24
Have you always been interested in geocaching and didn’t know where to start? L.L.Bean’s experienced instructors will teach you the basics of what geocaching is, how it works, safety considerations, how to participate in this modern-day treasure hunt without leaving a trace, and how to never pass up a geocache opportunity again. And they will teach you how to do it all by using your cell phone!

Intro to Stand-Up Paddleboarding with L.L.Bean
Calling all Brownies and Juniors looking for adventure! Who’s ready to discover how easy it is to balance on top of the water? Jump into summer fun with something new and learn the basics of standup paddleboarding (SUP) with your fellow Girl Scouts! This small group paddleboarding starter course with our partners at L.L.Bean is an excellent opportunity to learn the basic strokes and skills you’ll need for maneuvering a paddleboard, allowing you to explore and play on the water. Limited spaces available.

Kiss the Strawberry Moon Kayaking Tour with L.L.Bean 06-21-24
Who’s ready to come out and kiss the Strawberry Full Moon? Discover the beauty of nature at night as you paddle through calm waters under the glow of June’s Strawberry Full Moon. This special full moon event will surely enhance the beauty of these secluded waters and create a truly memorable adventure.

Glow in the Dark Paddleboarding with SurfSUP
Get ready for an out-of-this-world experience as we explore Lake Arthur after hours on a glowing standup paddleboard (SUP) for one of our most popular SUP events! Your glow standup paddleboard adventure begins with a sunset paddle including friendly, personal instruction for new paddlers (beginners welcome!). Once the sun is down, we illuminate the aquatic world beneath your feet with LED lighting and glow necklaces to explore the nocturnal life at Moraine State Park with an experienced guide from SurfSUP Adventures.

Cold-Blooded Kayaking Adventure with L.L.Bean 07-19-24
Who’s ready to get cold-blooded? Join a naturalist from North Park’s Latodami Nature Center for a two-hour, late-afternoon kayaking tour and learn all about the scaly, slimy world of herpetology! Following a short kayaking demonstration, a local expert will guide you on an interpretive kayak tour where you will learn about the differences between reptiles and amphibians and their importance to our ecosystem.
